Renaissance Church of Christ has a thriving Guardian Ministry, designed to ensure that every newly baptized member or person placing membership is quickly welcomed, mentored, and integrated into the church community. As their congregation grew, manually assigning mentors based on personal factors (age, gender, marital status, etc.) became increasingly complex and time-consuming.

That’s where CTC came in.

Crawford Technical Consulting developed a customized automation tool that evaluates each new member or baptism case and intelligently selects the most suitable mentor using a tailored matching algorithm. This tool also:

• Automatically sends personalized emails to assigned mentors, team captains, and ministry leaders.

• Connects with existing Google Sheets infrastructure to maintain an always-updated record of mentees.

• Runs on a schedule aligned with Sunday activities, reducing the need for manual oversight.

 

Thanks to this solution, the Guardian Ministry can now focus more on evangelism and connection rather than administrative tasks. The church has seen smoother onboarding and better communication across its mentorship network.
